I found a few waves at the weekend. A little bumpy and certainly not as clean as you might imagine from the pictures, but nice to get in the water nonetheless. An ongoing shoulder issue means using the "big" camera is out of the question at the moment so these were shot on a go pro.
A few images from a sunny trip to North Cornwall at the weekend. I wasn't sure the forecast warranted the drive. Sometimes you take a chance and it pays off :)
Looks like one of those shots of big waves breaking across some exotic reef..... It's actually a six inch waves breaking on a rock in Torquay!

Unusually, for mid-Summer there were a few South Devon waves this morning. I got a few for myself then jumped in with the Go Pro to grab a few pictures. Happy days :)
Following on from yesterday's post here are a few more from Budleigh :)
Regularly featured in lists of the best beaches in the country, Porthcurno is an absolute cracker. Get there early before the crowds and it's even better. There was a small shorebreak running this morning so I got in to take advantage of that water colour and clarity :)

A constant westerly wind has limited options on the surfing front over the past few days. However, I have got in the water at Portreath a couple of times and the sun even came out briefly yesterday morning so was able to grab a few pictures.
